The Philosophy
The philosophy of VortexHealing is that all of life is One (One Source, One Consciousness, One Divinity), expressing Itself as this amazing experience of creation.
But because we have lost the awareness of that, our basic experience of life has become one of separation. We experience ourselves as a particular being that is essentially separate from everything else in creation and separate from the Universal Source of creation. This creates all kinds of issues and false identities, which over time (and lives) imprint and condition every level of our human system - our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and even our sense of spirituality.
The web of this conditioning is incredibly, almost unimaginably deep, existing on multi-dimensional levels, and it completely distorts our experience of being human. In addition to creating a myriad of emotional issues, it also creates blockages in our human energy system, which generate weakness and physical disease.
Yet we don't need to remain trapped in this web. Life is One, so freedom and wholeness are possible.
The Goals of VortexHealing®
The intent of VortexHealing is to release this conditioning on every level it is found, returning the person to emotional balance and energetic strength, so that health prevails.
But the goal of VortexHealing is also much larger than this, because deeper healing requires a return to wholeness. And wholeness requires a return to the awareness of what we are, an awakening out of our root experience of separation into the experience of our true being.
So, the Divine Source of VortexHealing designed it to facilitate this kind of awakening. As a result, whether studying or receiving VortexHealing, a process is engaged – a kind of spiritual acceleration process – in which participants begin to awaken out of their conditioned webs of reality and identity.
Although the healing tools of VortexHealing are designed to generate physical and emotional health (and they do so fantastically), on a deeper level they also engage a process with the Divine that facilitates the deepest movement of healing that is possible, which is this kind of inner awakening to the freedom and Oneness that is our true nature.

What is the Merlin lineage?
It is the historical line of teachers and students that have learned VortexHealing from the Divine Expression that calls itself Merlin. Merlin’s Divinity brought VortexHealing into existence and is the Divine Source for all the transmissions of VortexHealing tools, for all the energetic acceleration that happens in the trainings, and for all the power and grace that make VortexHealing the magical healing art and path that it is. (The Merlin that is associated with King Arthur was not this Divine Expression but one of the human teachers of the Merlin lineage.) All Divine Expressions bring into manifestation a unique quality of the Divine. Merlin brings in the quality of magical transformation. Merlin’s healing art, VortexHealing, carries the power of that Divine quality, enabling it to magically transform emotional conditioning, transform physicality, transform ego-identity, and transform the deepest karmic issues we hold as human beings. And because the power of what is being channeled is always sourced from Merlin’s divine energy and consciousness, the result is not just the transformation of conditioning but the awakening of consciousness to its true nature.
How does VortexHealing ® work?
VortexHealing derives its name from a particular Divine energy - vortex that is brought into manifestation in the heart and becomes a vehicle for Merlin’s Divine presence to manifest healing, transformation and spiritual growth.
The deep connection to this Divine presence is what makes VortexHealing so unique, for this Divine presence deeply ‘bridges’ both Divine Vortex energies and its own Divine consciousness into the recipient, and guides their movement to optimize healing. This is critical, because conditioning of our issues is based on the consciousness of separateness, of ego. So it cannot simply be released, it must be transformed back into freedom, back into the wholeness from which it came. But only that which is free of ego – only deeply bridged Divine energy and Divine consciousness – can do that. And these are the healing tools of VortexHealing.
VortexHealing is not something we created but comes to us as a gift of the Divine Presence within the Merlin lineage. And the intention of that Divine Presence is to heal us, transform us, and open us to the inner freedom of our true being.
Why does VortexHealing ® work so deeply?
When the Divine Source of our lineage manifests VortexHealing tools into students’ consciousness and energy system for the Foundational Training, the ‘direct consciousness transmission’ has 3 aspects to it: a) direct transmission of the energetic healing tools, b) a movement that evolves and accelerates the healer’s energy system and consciousness, enabling it to be a better vehicle for the Divine work that is coming through it, and c) the creation of a unique BRIDGE in the student's system so that all the Divine power that can be accessed by the student's system is also bridged very deeply into the receiver of the healing. With each level of more advanced classes, deeper transmissions are given, and there is a continual deeper bridging of the Divine through the healer’s system.
We can see VortexHealing’s potential healing power when it is used on a musical instrument. The sound of the instrument changes remarkably – in less than one minute it is richer, more harmonious and expresses more heart! (This is mentioned in many of the articles about VortexHealing.) What other healing art has the depth or power to bridge healing deeply enough to manifest this kind of change in a physical object?
It should be pointed out that as powerful as VortexHealing is, because it is run by Divine consciousness it can never be used for anything other than positive purposes.
What is the difference between working with Divine Energy vs. Divine Consciousness?
Most healing arts that work with the Divine use Divine energy (also called Divine light) but do not access Divine consciousness. Although Divine energy is pure healing energy, it is Divine consciousness that transforms the roots of the consciousness of separateness. When Divine consciousness is truly accessed, it also acts as an independent intelligence; it knows exactly where the roots of your issues are held and goes directly there to transform them. VortexHealing works with both Divine energy and Divine consciousness, accessing both in a variety of ways.
But energy has a key role to play in healing as well. Some healing arts use ‘chi’ or ‘pranic energy’ or ‘life energy’. This is not Divine energy but the energy of manifested life. This would also be true of some energies that are referred to as ‘universal energy’. Although these energies can be used for healing, they cannot work as deeply as Divine energy. There are other healing arts that do use Divine light or energy, and usually they have a particular one that is used. But different kinds of Divine energy can create different effects. VortexHealing uses 49 unique forms of Divine Vortex energy. And each one is designed by the Divine to accomplish a different function, with each one going exactly to where it needs to go to optimally help the person who is receiving healing.
How can VortexHealing® facilitate spiritual awakening?
Although spiritual awakening sometimes seems to happen spontaneously, it never happens unless there has been sufficient ‘ripening’ first. Because the Divine intention for the VortexHealing lineage is to facilitate spiritual awakening, the Divine source of the lineage generates this ripening continuously during VortexHealing classes and whenever VortexHealing is being channeled – whether for oneself or someone else. Working in the background in this way, the Divine Source of the lineage ensures that students have become sufficiently ripe to have their first awakening movements by the time they have the prerequisites to take the Core Veil and Awakening to Being Awareness class. Can VortexHealing ® be used for situations as well?
In the second level class, Magical Structures, students are given a healing tool called Merlin’s Healing Grid, which can work on situations. For instance, if there is a problem in a relationship, in a family, at work, in a company, etc, the situation can be placed in Merlin’s Healing Grid, for healing and harmonizing. Global issues can also be placed in this Grid, but the healing for anything so large and so complex is very, very slow.
What are main reasons that people take VortexHealing® trainings?
Many people learn VortexHealing simply to support their own health or work on their emotional issues, some want to develop their skills as a healer, and others are drawn to VortexHealing because of the awakening possibilities inherent within this Divine lineage.
How can VortexHealing ® be learned?

What is the History of the VortexHealing ® Lineage?
Our lineage began with a man named Mehindra who lived about 5600 years ago. Mehindra was not a typical ‘karmic’ human being - he was not a soul or incarnational personality. He was an avatar – a direct incarnation of Divinity into human form. Every avatar brings a unique aspect of Divine Expression into manifestation. The aspect of the Divine that Mehindra manifests is Magical Transformation.
But VortexHealing didn’t come into being until thousands of years later. In 753 B.C., a man living in what is now England, who was close to enlightenment, received the gift of VortexHealing as a Divine revelation from Mehindra. Mehindra presented himself as ‘Merlin’, a name chosen because it was the closest word vibrationally (in the language of that area) to the quality of Magical Transformation. Working with this Divine gift, the man became enlightened and began to pass the gift on to others, through the mechanism of direct consciousness transmission. This was the beginning of the Merlin lineage on earth and the beginning of VortexHealing.
Along the way, the lineage was ‘lost’ and re-discovered several times. It was recovered in modern times when, in November 1994, Ric Weinman had an experience in which he suddenly found himself standing in a huge inter-dimensional vortex. His feet were still on the ground, but the rest of him was ‘elsewhere’. A voice that identified itself as the Divine Expression named Merlin started to dialogue with him and gave him the transmission that would enable him to re-start the teaching of VortexHealing. Merlin directed him to start doing healings with it. (Ric was a full-time healer at the time.) A few weeks later he was shocked to discover that in a single session he had healed a man of viral chronic fatigue (called M.E. in some parts of the world) that he had had for 20 years. During the next months, Ric found himself healing conditions and diseases that he knew he wouldn’t have been able to significantly impact before. Other people, seeing the power of Ric’s healings, wanted to learn it, and about 9 months later he offered the first VortexHealing class in Tucson, Arizona, where he was living at the time.
Since then, other teachers have received the VortexHealing teacher transmission through Ric and teach VortexHealing in various parts of the world. In addition, VortexHealing itself has undergone an enormous evolution from where it was in ancient times. The depth and power of it today is indeed remarkable. When you experience what VortexHealing is able to do, you will know why the Merlin of myth (who was actually the 5th Merlin of the lineage) was considered to be a man of magic.
VortexHealing entered a new phase when Merlin facilitated Ric’s spiritual awakening in August, 2002. Classes were soon developed to facilitate this awakening for students as well. And as these classes progressed and deepened, it became clear that Merlin’s Divine intention was for all students of his lineage to be awakened. VortexHealing now has two interweaving manifestations: that of a healing art and that of an awakening path. At a certain level of training now, any student can take the class that breaks down the Core Veil, the center of the ego-structure in the human personality. We call this ‘Basic Awakening’. Other awakening movements are created in later awakening classes.
